تقاضای بخشش رییس جمهور آلمان از لهستان در سالگرد آغاز جنگ جهانی دوم

رییس جمهور آلمان در مراسمی در شهر ویلون لهستان که نخستین بمب‌های جنگ جهانی دوم ۸۰ سال پیش بر آن فرود آمد، از این کشور درخواست بخشش کرد.

به گزارش ایسنا، فرانک والتر اشتاینمایر، رییس جمهور آلمان در این مراسم به دو زبان لهستانی و آلمانی گفت: در برابر قربانیان این حمله علیه شهر ویلون سر فرو می‌آورم. در برابر قربانیان لهستانی ظلم آلمان سر فرو می‌آورم و تقاضای بخشش می‌کنم.

جنگ جهانی دوم با حمله آلمان نازی به لهستان در یکم سپتامبر ۱۹۳۹ و پس از حادثه گلایویتس آغاز شد. این عملیاتی در ۳۱ اوت ۱۹۳۹ با حمله تعدادی از نیروهای آلمانی ملبس به لباس نظامیان لهستانی به ایستگاه رادیویی گلایویتس در مرز میان آلمان و لهستان انجام شد. آلمان با انجام این عملیات فریبکارانه (عملیات پرچم دروغین) بهانه لازم را برای حمله به لهستان و شروع جنگ جهانی دوم فراهم کرد.

در روز ۱۷ سپتامبر ۱۹۳۹ پس از آنکه دولت لهستان کشور را ترک کرد، ارتش شوروی از مرزهای شرقی لهستان عبور کرد و وارد این کشور شد که در نهایت تقسیم لهستان به دو بخش را در پی داشت که یکی از آن‌ها تحت کنترل آلمان و دیگری تحت کنترل شوروی بود.

لهستان در سال ۱۹۴۵ توسط نیروهای شوروی از اشغال آلمان رها شد.

German President demands forgiveness from Poland on the anniversary of World War II
